SPL Phonitor e Headphone Amplifier (OPEN)

The Phonitor e was designed for those looking for a straightforward, powerful and excellent sounding headphone amplifier. Compared to its bigger sibling, the Phonitor x, the feature set has been reduced to the essentials. The Phonitor e offers connections for balanced and unbalanced headphones, and offers up to 3.7 W of output power.

For balanced operation, Phonitor e has an advanced dual-power amp built in which delivers twice the power of the standard 1/4″ jack output. This tightens the bass response and makes the overall playback more relaxed and transparent. The front houses a 4-pol XLR connector to connect balanced headphones.

The Phonitor-Matrix offers two presets. The Speaker Angle is fixed to the most common setting of 30° representing the ideal angle for a stereo speaker placement. The Crossfeed adjustment has two level settings.

You can use any IR remote control to control volume–the Phonitor will learn your remote!

Phonitor e can be equipped with the DAC192 DA-converter. With that installed the available inputs are expanded by USB, coaxial and optical digital stereo inputs. The DA converter supports sample rates up to 192 kHz with 24 bit.
